Car Confessions #4 - I am Refusing to Give Up!
Share
I got a little behind in sharing my pilates journey but I am still at it. Here is my 4th Car Confession. More to follow:
I am being provided three months of classes in exchange for an honest reflection of my Journey.
All opinions are my own. It is my Universe, after all.
I finished another Pilates class at Club Pilates in WIlliamsville. I'm really proud of myself because it was freezing and raining, and I had to get up for an 8 AM class on a holiday! Everyone else was probably still in bed, but I pushed myself to go.
Strong and Weak
I'm getting better with my leg work and feeling more confident about it. I'm starting to get the hang of the movements and know what I'm doing.
My arms, on the other hand?
My arms are a total disaster. I have no strength, especially in my left arm. It's crazy how much weaker one arm can be compared to the other.
I am learning what works for me. I think I need the structure of a class to stay motivated. I've tried going to the gym, but I don't stick with it. I like the focus on form in Pilates. It keeps me engaged during the class, unlike spin, which I just suffered through.
I mean, SERIOUSLY, spin! It's torture to stand and torture to sit. In fact, it gives a who new meaning to sit and spin.
You can check out class three or hop in the way back machine and see how this journey began here.
