This Film Really is a Treasure for the Family

It's been a while since I watched what I consider a classic film for kids along the lines of what I had when I grew up. The new film, Treasure Trackers, is just that. An absolute clean for language but no babyish in dialogue, old school, action film for kids that I sincerely enjoyed.

Tracking this Film is the Treasure

I received a preview of the film for the purpose of this review. All opinions are mine.
It is my Universe, after all

After California girl Leah (played nicely by Charity Rose) loses her mom, her Dad  moves her across the country to live with her loopy aunt and uncle in a southern town called Carterville. After the normal bumps and bruises of a new town, she makes two new friends - Tessa (Amelia Salazar) and Marshy (Sean Jay). From them, an interested teacher, and the aforementioned loopy relatives, she learns that while small, this town isn't lacking in stories. In fact, its tales are as tall as they get, except they might be true.

The Legends May Be True

Thus this misfit trio heads out to find two hundred year old gold that may be cursed by a Raven Witch. They are also up against very real foes. With a fellow middle-school bully, his big brother and his followers also looking for the gold, they are in a race to find it first and to find out the truth behind the Carter curse.

We often hear the phrase family film. Treasure Trackers truly fits the bill. So if you are looking for a fun movie night filled with just the right amount of jumps, thrills, and chills, you can purchase it on your favorite digital service.
