Are You Too Busy or Are You Addicted to Busyness?

I don't have time for that...
"What?", you say.

It is my Universe, after all.
Have you felt that way? If so, you may be interested in this conversation I had with Peggy Sullivan, author of Beyond Busyness: How to Achieve More by Doing Less. She offers frank and friendly advice about how to move beyond busyness (hence the name), and create a life based upon your values. It doesn't have to feel exhausting and overfilled to become successful.
What's your number one challenge?
This question was what sent Peggy on her mission. "Time, I don't have time for what's important." That was the answer she kept hearing. "And so I really started to investigate this whole thing about busyness and what happened as a result of busyness, and I learned, looking at the stats, that we weren't healthier, we weren't happier, we weren't more productive. None of... that was true."
So she began a process based on common sense to stop trying to do too much by eliminating low-value things and focusing on the things that truly matter to us.
